    Trent Richardson traded to Colts

Yes, you’ve heard. The Cleveland Browns have traded Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts. When I first heard the news, I thought it was a mistake, but it seems the Browns are serious about wanting to be terrible this season. The fallout for fantasy owners is pretty obvious. photo by: Erik Daniel Drost

Yahoo! and Buffalo Wild Wings declare National Draft Day tomorrow, August 24

    by  • August 23, 2013 • News • 0 Comments

Tomorrow, August 24, Buffalo Wild Wings and Yahoo! Fantasy Football are declaring a national holiday, National Draft Day. A worthy cause, if you asked me.

As part of the festivities, Yahoo! Fantasy Football managers will be able to go to any Buffalo Wild Wings nearby for draft advice, free stuff, and to, of course, draft their teams.

Brad “Big Noise” Evans and Andy Behrens will be in Dallas and Minneapolis to offer their expert advice. Everyone else can join in online with Brandon Funston and Kay Adams as they host the day from the Yahoo! Sports studio, which will be streaming at every BWW location and to online users from 12 to 2 p.m. CST.

I don’t know about you, but that sounds like a nice little Saturday. I’m canceling my Pottery Barn plans.

    Nothing to mock here

    by  • April 25, 2013 • News • 0 Comments

For your entertainment, I offer up Ufford’s take on mock drafts, which I believe gets it right — they’re mostly fan fiction for the people watching at home…hoping desperately that their home team doesn’t screw it up. It’s nice to think for a while that they might do the right thing with that first round pick, isn’t it?
