I think that was the weakness in this draft, Fantasy champ. At the time of this mock draft, I was experimenting with getting running back and quarterback depth while taking sleeper wide receivers late like Kevin Walter and Lance Moore.

If I did this draft over again today, I would take Vincent Jackson over Thomas Jones and would have locked up Anthony Gonzalez, Hester, Berrian or Lee Evans before Addai.

I don't hate Jones or Addai this year, especially considering how late you can get them in most drafts, but I probably could have gotten those backup running backs later as they fell. I already had some great strength at running back with both Forte and Slaton.

Of course, stepping back from a draft and looking at what works is how we learn what strategies work best each season, and that's why we do these mock drafts. Thanks again for your comment. I agree with you on that one.

Ah, that explains it. Your draft was one of the more interesting ones out of this mock draft, so it makes sense that the ever-surprising ESPN autodraft bot was at work.

I can't say that I'm sad you missed it though since you would have prevented me from getting Slaton in the second round.

I'll add an update at the top to clarify the situation so that I don't tarnish the Bruno Boys good name. Thanks for letting me know.

I just wanted to let you know that BrunoBoys.Net was actually not present at this expert Mock Draft and all of the picks that say BrunoBoys.Net are actually ESPN Generated Picks.

During the time when everyone was changing rooms we somehow got left behind and never made it into the main draft room. We actually where picking our entire team in the Mock Draft that ESPN drafted you all those backup Quarterbacks in.

Just wanted to give you and your readers a heads up that BrunoBoys.Net ddn't have anythinig to do with any of the above picks.

In fact, if we would have been there we would have went Brian Westbrook and Steve Slaton with picks 1.10 and 2.01.
