On the Wire: Waiver Wire Free-for-all from Week 9
It’s time for change, America.
Bring me your injured, your underperforming, your studs gone duds. Together, we can reshape your fantasy team for the future into a team without injustice, without phantom starts (see: Willis McGahee) and without any of Shanahan’s running backs — well, maybe just one.
Yes, we can. Yes, we can. YES, WE CAN.
And on that very original campaign note, Fools in 2012.
I hope you all voted yesterday, but while you were busy at the polls, I was busy collecting a vast array of pickups that could help you make it to the playoffs.

Foolish Thoughts on Week 6: Last-second nonsense
Who is the better Manning now? I think Peyton Manning put ex-lax in his brother’s Gatorade this week. It was time to shut up the critics. Peyton gets three touchdowns; Eli gets three picks. At least in fantasy, it looks like Peyton may have reclaimed his top spot on the Manning mantel for now.
And Eli has lost my respect (again) until he can tackle the lone man running down the sidelines.
Speaking of Peyton, who knew the Colts had a defense?

On the Wire: Waiver Wire Super Snags from Week 4
Was 2008 the year to have the fifth pick in fantasy football?
So far this season, it would seem that the later draft picks have gone unscathed while the early drafters suffered some major blows to their studs. Owners have had to make due with their depth from the middle rounds, the true test of any fantasy football champion.
A handful of consensus top picks have already missed a game or been limited.

Week 14: Save me for the playoffs! Save me!
We will do something a little different this week.
Considering that you are probably either entering the playoffs or crying with the stall door closed in the men’s (or women’s) restroom, we are just going to take a look at the players that could replace your injured starters.
Of those players that are starting, just look back through previous week’s waiver pick ups to see who you might have missed, but I would assume the names are probably familiar to you if you have been doing your research all season.

Week 13: Waiver wire replacements for your injuries, sir
Oh, you weren’t starting to settle into a nice little butt groove going into the last week before playoffs were you? I’m sorry. If you didn’t notice, several starters just fell apart this week leaving you in the position to grab up the next starter before you playoff opponents or in great need of grabbing your back ups if you didn’t handcuff.
This week we’ll combine the injury report and waiver wire.
Philip Rivers, QB SD
Keep your eye on Rivers.
