Regardless of their relationship with the female anatomy, Cutler and Rivers aren't in the same ballpark this year when it comes to value. I'm not saying you should pass on Rivers entirely. I would, but that's just because he's not a guy I like this season.

Statistically, Rivers had a season that cannot be repeated last year. His fantasy points were very touchdown-heavy -- too touchdown-heavy for the number of passes he attempted in 2008 (Read: http://bit.ly/rdRvH). Unless L.T. is more broken than people expect, the Chargers should balance the run and the pass and an improved defense will keep them from putting the game in Rivers' hands every week.

With a dip in production, Rivers is overvalued where he is being drafted in the fourth round, but I'd gladly take Jay Cutler in the eighth round as a low-end starter or high-end backup fantasy quarterback.

McNabb has plenty going for him this season, and while I agree with you that he could be elite, I am not as certain it will happen. I am not worried about Michael Vick stealing McNabb's job, but a Wildcat red zone package, something the Eagles are working on with Vick, could severely cut into McNabb's touchdown total this year. I think he's going at a pretty good value. The potential is there, but I just doubt it will become reality.

Sorry to hear about your Bronco fandom. I don't think any of Denver's first eight games this year are going to be fun to watch. That's a rough schedule, and that's before you consider that Orton will be the guy trying to win those games for you. Ouch.

Spot on my friend, this isn't your first barbeque… The only one I can disagree on is Donovan McNabb, I would rate him as elite this year. Mostly because of the schedule, expect him to have less Int. and sacks this year, much stronger team behind him. I’m a Bronco fan as a native but I can’t see Orton doing us any favors, Phili is my team to watch this year.
